*** NEW – Beginner/Novice Start-up Cycle *** We are delighted to announce the re-launch of our Beginner/Novice cycle which will begin this Saturday 10th February @ 9:00. This cycle will be led by an experienced cycle coach and will be leaving from Kingfisher NUIG every Saturday morning for the next few weeks @ 9:00am sharp. The average speed of the group will be leisurely (less than 25km/hr) and nobody will be left behind. The routes will be varied with an average distance of 30k that will include varying terrain.

This Saturday spin is ideal for the beginner/novice cyclist who doesn’t have any experience cycling in groups. We will go through all of the cycling etiquette and techniques associated with group cycling.

Important: Safety is crucial in group cycling! Make sure your bike is in perfect working order, if in doubt get it checked out. As with all cycling events, helmets are mandatory, No helmet no cycle! Please remove aerobars from the bike. Also bring a spare tube/pump/puncture repair kit, a multi-tool, a phone and a small amount of money in your saddle bag. Finally please dress in line with the weather forecast and wear hi-vis where possible.

No obligation to purchase but MBW are offering a rent to buy if people are interested and also a pay over a month option. The Turbo class would be a pay-as-you go option.
